His understanding of regional Indian flavors and showcasing them with fresh approach has given him recognition & respect for his food.
He is constantly involved in research & reviving new dishes & ideas to fuel excitement in his team & the guest who dines at his restaurant.
LIFE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Amrish was born in Saharanpur & did his basic education from the same place. He moved to Bangalore to do begin his career in hospitality & gained his Diploma in Hotel Management & catering Technology in the year 2001.
During his catering studies he was nominated as a senior member of the college Chef Team, Where his passion for cooking & crafting got real ignition & he met his first mentor professor Vivek Madan.
In year 2001, Amrish joined the Park hotels as a kitchen management trainee. After he graduated as a specialty Chef (2003) & got an opportunity to open an Indian restaurant named ‘Fire’ The Restaurant was rated 3 years in a row as one of the finest modern India restaurant by HT city eating out guide in New Delhi.
During the same time he travelled different regions of India & worked with some of the maestro’s of Indian cuisine. These activities helped him to gain understanding and identifying the regional Indian flavors, the special techniques, spice blends, & their correct usages.
In his early stages of his career Amrish was working under the guidance of Chef Bakshish dean which has really engineered his thought & purpose of Cooking.
After doing a small project on Indian restaurant in Shanghai (2005-2006) Amrish moved to U.A.E. where he opened Zaika in the year 2006, Ushna (premium dining) in 2008 in abudhabi which won numerous awards & recognition.
Amrish was later appointed as a brand chef overlooking Ushna in abudhabi and Zafran in Dubai & Kuwait. during this time his main responsibilities was to enhance the standards & quality of food , working on kitchen designs for new restaurants , imparting training and skills in the team & providing strong foundation to both the brands .
At Present Amrish is taking care of a Restaurant named RangMahal & he is striving to make that restaurant as another destination for Indian food Lovers.
