INGREDIENTS – QTY
Lamb mince – 500 gms, Mustard oil – ½ cup, Green Cardamom – 5nos, Clove – 5nos, Onion grated – 2 cup, Tomato grated – 4 cup, Red chilli pwd – 3 tsp, Turmeric – 3 tsp, Corriander pwd – 6 tsp, Green peas – ½ cup, Potatoes diced – 1 cup, Ginger chopped – 2 tbsp Kasoori methi – 2 tsp, Chopped garlic – 2 tsp, Cumin seeds – 2 tsp, Lemon- 1 no’s, Corriander chopped – 4 tbsp, Garam masala pwd – 1 tsp
Keema Masala Complete Recipe
METHOD:
1-Heat oil in a cooking pot add cardamom, cinnamon, clove & bay leaf. Allow the spices to splutter. Followed by add onions. Cook the onions till Golden brown.
2-Add tomatoes to the above onion along with coriander pwd, turmeric pwd & red chilli pwd. Cook the masala till it leaves the oil. Followed by Add diced potatoes along with green peas. Cook the masala for another 5 minutes.
3-In a bowl add lamb mince along with warm water mixing it gently, breaking all lumps & making it a uniform mixture.
4-Add the above lamb mince to the onion tomato masala along with salt. Continue cooking till required texture & ensuring potatoes & lamb is cooked.
5-In separate pan heat oil add cumin seeds followed by chopped garlic, chopped ginger& fenugreek leaves. Gently sauté the spices& temper the keema masala.
6-Towards the end adjust seasoning with salt & lemon juice & finish the keema masala with chopped coriander & garam masala pwd.
