Saffron flavored shrimps with yogurt and ground spices.
SERVES – 4
Shrimps Medium size – 20 pcs, Lemon juice – 50 ml, Lemon – 1 no’s, Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Yoghurt (Thick) – 100 gms, Green Cardamom pwd – 1 tsp, Cooking cream – 175 Ml, Saffron – 1gms, Coriander Chopped – 30 gms, Ginger Chopped – 20 gms, Salt – to taste, Chat masala – 2 tsp
De-scale, de-vein & clean the shrimps under running water.
Season the shrimps with lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and salt; allow them to rest for 30-45 minutes.
In the meantime prepare the saffron marinade. Add yoghurt saffron, green cardamom pwd, white pepper pwd & cooking cream, Chopped ginger & coriander in a mixing bowl. Incorporate them gently with whisk.
Marinate the shrimps in above Saffron marinade; allow them to rest for another 30-45 minutes.
Grill the shrimps on a barbecue or cook them in a tandoor.
Baste the shrimps from time to time with clarified butter.
Serve the shrimps hot seasoned with lemon juice, chat masala & accompanied with Mix lettuce greens.
